THRILLHO’s Beer Review

November 7, 2007

thrillhoLoyal LWN readers. This is Nate, but you can call me THRILLHO. As a LWN supporter and fellow procrastinator I have been asked to contribute to the fastest growing blog in Marion County.

Lets take a step back from football and concentrate on a subject with a far deeper history…. Beer.

thrillho beerAs I transform into an old man, my beer intake has greatly decreased, however the quality has greatly increased. Homebrewing in our inner circle of degenerate fools is increasing at a rate comparable to the great Texas Hold-Em boom of aught 2. It’s a rewarding hobby and I encourage anyone who has extra time on their hands to try their hand at it.

Former Buffalo RB Willis McGahee had an interview with Penthouse Magazine where he talked about the future of the Bills and the city in general.

“That would be a good situation. Toronto is a beautiful place. But if they’re going to put a team there, they should just bring the Buffalo Bills to Toronto. Case closed.”

Then, weeks after he was traded, McGahee painted the entire
community as a cultural backwater, quoted in The Baltimore Sun as
knocking Buffalo’s nightlife, restaurants and women, saying he’d
spend most of his down time eating at Applebee’s and sitting on the
couch playing video games. Of course McGahee’s asshole agent Drew Rosenhaus said all those comments “were taken out of context.” What were the questions?

Interviewer- “Willis, if you were a venture capitalist who purchased the Bills and were forced to move them…. where would you go?”

Interviewer- “Willis, what is your favorite chain restuarant in Buffalo?”

Kenny Mayne, the most hilarious man in all of sports did a “Mayne Event” feature with new Bills RB Marshawn Lynch poking fun at McGahee.

You will still be able to find my ramblings at www.smokeymctrees.com, but you can also access the same info here. Also, you can keep up with my other blog, The Meaningful Collateral here!

As some of you know, LWN is a community related man. He mentors a group of three young men each year at a local elementary/middle school during the year. Part of this socially conscious duty requires LWN to take part in interesting field trips to various places in the Indianapolis area, like these-
